Looking to the Future Activity
As Mindful Mood Balance winds to an end, it can be helpful to have a reminder of the work and spirit that you have invested in this program. One way to do this is by choosing an image with which you connect that reminds you of all you have learned. For some people, this might be an image of lightness or strength, such as the sun or a mountain; others might prefer an image of calm, such as a lily floating on a pond or other images of nature; others might prefer an image of connection, such as an image of the earth, a circle, or linked hands.
We have made some suggestions of images to give you some ideas, and we encourage you to use these as inspiration for generating an image that is meaningful for you. We invite you to put that image somewhere you will see it every day, perhaps even write the words Mindful Mood Balance on the back or front as an extra reminder. This way, when you glance at it, you can remind yourself about all that this program has given you and all that you have invested to learn new ways of maintaining your health and well-being.
Review these images as inspiration to identify an image in your own life that represents for you the key lessons of Mindful Mood Balance. Allow that image to stand as a daily reminder of all that you have learned and all the hard work and care that you have invested in this program.
